Lemon Essential Oil, or Citrus Limon peel oil, extracted by expressing the rind, has antioxidant and anti-wrinkle properties, it stimulates the mind and provides clarity of thought.
Lemon essential oil is extracted from fruit of the lemon tree. This fruit tree is native to the massive steppe area of Central Asia, north of the Himalayas. In this sunny and dry region, the oases inhabited by nomadic, semi-sedentary tribes historically offered the best growing conditions for useful plants like the lemon tree, thanks to the abundant water sources found there. The civilisations of neighbouring countries (Indians, Chinese and Persians) also soon discovered the refreshing fruit of the lemon tree, learning how to cultivate and use it. Greek and Roman merchants brought the lemon tree from Persia to the West. Today it can be found all over the Mediterranean region.
The essence is obtained by pressing the outside of the pericarp or rind of the fruit. Some 4,000 lemons are needed to obtain 1 Kg. of Essential Oil.
Lemon essential oil is attributed with mind stimulating attributes.
Cosmetically, Lemon essential oil has antioxidant and anti-wrinkle properties and stimulates the regeneration and synthesis of collagen. Lemon Essential Oil is a general antiseptic as well.

Usage mode:
Use: Topical use. Perfume to be diluted in a carrier oil. Max. recommendation: 1% (facial use) and 3% (body use).
Cautions: Topical use. Avoid contact with your eyes and other sensitive areas. Keep out of the reach of children. Consult your doctor before using during pregnancy, breastfeeding or with any other medical treatments. Some essential oils are sensitive to light, so dont expose skin to the sun after use. Store in a cool (<25ºC), dry place, away from light. Flammable.
