YLANG-YLANG Essential Oil 10 ml

It is the “flower of flowers” of essential oils. Essential oil is extracted from Ylang-Ylang, or Cananga odorata, that features warm, floral, exotic and feminine notes. Its aphrodisiac properties have been known for many years.

Its name means “flower of flowers”. Ylang-Ylang is an exotic tree native to tropical parts of Asia that is grown on Java, Sumatra and the Comoro Islands. It has large delicate yellow flowers that give off an intense and characteristic perfume. In Indonesia, the flowers are scattered upon the marriage bed of the just married couple. 

Cosmetically, in addition to its antimicrobial and purifying action, it helps activate microcirculation. It has a stimulating and anti-hair loss effect. It is also an antioxidant and sebaceous regulator.

It is said the Ylang-Ylang Oil acts as an aphrodisiac by providing sexual relaxation and openness. This is why mothers in Indonesia place Ylang Ylang branches around their daughters’ marriage beds, to help them transition into married life

To prevent hair loss: Mix one spoonful of Jojoba Vegetable Oil with 3 drops of Ylang-Ylang and massage into the scalp.

For a relaxing bath: add to the bathtub 10 drops of Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil and 5 drops of Lavandin Essential Oil mixed with a small amount of Bath and Shower Gel. The aroma will perfume the entire room with a delicate floral scent.

As a sebaceous regulator for oily skin: add 5 drops of Ylang-Ylang Essential Oil to 20 ml of Jojoba vegetable oil. Apply every night as a serum.

Use: Topical use. Perfume to be diluted in a carrier oil. Max. recommendation: 1% (facial use) and 3% (body use).

Cautions: Topical use. Avoid contact with your eyes and other sensitive areas. Keep out of the reach of children. Consult your doctor before using during pregnancy, breastfeeding or with any other medical treatments. Some essential oils are sensitive to light, so dont expose skin to the sun after use. Store in a cool (<25ºC), dry place, away from light. Flammable.
