Grapefruit Essential Oil 10 ml
Grapefruit Essential Oil, or Citrus grandis peel oil contains purifying and antioxidant properties. It is known for its fragrance which helps calm and reduce stress.
The origin of the grapefruit is not known for sure. It was first described in 1750 by Griffith Hughes, who called it the forbidden fruit of Barbados. In 1814, John Lunan (Hortus Jamaicensis) mentioned the grapefruit as a variety of lemon of a different size with a thin, tough and soft skin that is pale yellow in colour.
The main components of grapefruit are some volatile essences, carbohydrates, mineral salts, pectins and vitamins A, B and C.
Its fragrance is known to help calm stress. Atmospheric antiseptic.
Cosmetically, Grapefruit Essential Oil has antioxidant, moisturising, and purifying properties and stimulates collagen synthesis. It also has anti-ageing properties and helps protect against oxidation processes of the skin. It is perfect for balancing out oily skin. It also helps combat cellulite.
