AMMONITE

Fossilized ammonites are the remnants of the ancient cephalopod mollusks. They lived in the Paleozoic era, in ancient sea waters, and became extinct 100 million years ago. That's why their carapaces were permanently petrified. Mollusks were one of the initial forms of earth life. At the moment, there are about 3 thousand varieties of the shells.

Meaning
In the 1st century ad, the ancient Roman writer Pliny the Elder named the shells "ammonis cornua" in honor of the God Amon of Thebes from ancient Egyptian mythology. He patronized the Universe and the air. Amon was depicted as a human ram with twisted horns. They look like a spiral of shells.

The Egyptians used ammonite powder to treat wounds, and the Chinese did massage with a sink. They believed that this procedure fills a person with strength and positive energy.
